a musical sculpture by Rupert Huber and Horst Hörtner, created together with the Ars Electronica Futurelab, is now on display at the Viennafair 2012, Messe Wien. “4.1” is a space-creating composition for piano, electronic effects and light. A stele, four loudspeakers and one light cube create architectural music a new phenomenon in terms of room acoustics. The light functions as its own voice in this polyphonic composition. “4.1” is space coming to life, pulsating and breathing music becoming a sculpture which establishes a new space of attention: light/shades and acoustic space.
Musical interventions will take place on Friday, September 21 at 11am, 3pm and 5pm and on Saturday and Sunday at 11am and 3pm. (Viennafair 2012, VIENNA SONIC Stand A03.1)
